There are a variety of great ideas when trying to plan a bachelor party. The first thing you want to do for bachelor party planning is to make a guest list, then talk to the groom and find out what he would like to do. The best man is usually the one to plan a bachelor party and you want to include the groom in what you're doing. Because the party is for him, he shouldn't have to do any work concerning the party. Also you may want to speak to the bride to make sure you don't cause a problem right before the wedding.
When planning the guest list you want to make sure to include the groom and bride's father and any other close male relatives. Talk to the groom so you don't leave anyone out of your bachelor party planning. Another thing to consider is the cost of the party. Just because you are the planning the party you shouldn't be the one to pay for the whole thing. See if the Bride and/or grooms Dad are willing to pay for the party. If this isn't an option you can add up what the day will cost and divide that cost between all the men, except the groom, so everyone is pitching in.
Whatever you have in store for the bachelor party, just make sure to have fun. Usually weddings are centered on the bride. This is the main part of a wedding that is just for the groom, so make sure to make the party memorable and fun. You don't have to get extravagant just stick to something that you know the groom will like. If you have a plan for your party, a guest list, where you're going, the date set and the cost accounted for, and then you're pretty much ready to go. Be creative and have fun.
