When there is a party to be planned, there are many factors that must be considered.  Many things must be decided upon, from the date and time the party is going to take place, to the location and who will be invited.  Upon doing some research and looking up party planning information, it is found that throwing a party can be easier than once thought as long as some tips are followed.

The first thing that is generally discussed amongst party planning information is the timeline.  This will include the date and time the party will be thrown.  While it is a good idea for the date to be around the time the celebrated event has occurred, it should also be considered whether or not there are other events occurring around the same time.  If a party is being held for a graduate, it should be held around the time of the graduation whereas if a party is being planned for an anniversary, it should occur around the same date.  The time is also important to determine so that other arrangements can be made.  This will help with the other planning as it is important to know if lunch or dinner is going to be served as well as the activities that are planned.  Upon selecting the date and time, the location will need to be determined.

The amount of food that will be served as well as the number of guests to invite will essentially be determined by the budget.  It is important to factor all costs into the budget before beginning to make arrangements.  Determine how much is available for the entire party and then section it off into amounts for different aspects like food, drink, decorations, and entertainment.  If the budget is limited, fewer guests should be invited, but if there is plenty in the budget and a big party is warranted, then plan on inviting a lot of people.  The budgeting lists can be found within the party planning information you find so that you can easily keep track of the cost.

Once all party details have been determined, it is necessary to create a guest list.  Be sure to include all of the necessary people who will want to attend and if there is room for more guests, feel free to invite others.  If a birthday party is being planned, be sure to include the friends and family of the guest of honor. When the guest list is decided upon, send out invitations at least 3 weeks prior to the date of the party.
